There are 2 types of articles/posts on Facebook that you will want to save to MapPost -

Ⅰ - Articles/posts that are 'native' to Facebook, and

Ⅱ - Articles/posts that are hyperlinked to an external website.

  1. Tap the '⋯' button in the upper right corner of the Facebook article/post.

    Then tap the 'Share to' button in the pop-up that appears.

    And tap 'More Options ...' button at the bottom of the second pop-up.

    If the MapPost Share Extension on iOS is not enabled, follow these

    one-time steps
    1. Swipe the app icons that appear in the next pop-up to the left, and then tap the 'More' icon.
    1. Tap 'Edit' in the upper right corner of the screen to update App Sharing status.
    1. First toggle the MapPost 'On/Off' switch to the 'On' position, then tap the green + button left of the MapPost logo, to move it onto the Favorites list.
    1. Tap 'Done' in the upper right corner of the screen.
    1. Tap 'Done' in the upper left corner of the screen.

  2. Tap the MapPost icon to share Facebook articles and posts to MapPost.
  3. Enter Place Name and 'partial' Address (such as Street Name, City, and/or Country). Select correct Destination.
  4. Tap 'Save' to save the Facebook article/post and destination in MapPost.
  5. You'll see the 'Saved' dialog box after the save is complete.
